Unit "Integration of People with Disabilities"

From 2004-2006, Business & Disability: a European Network has been working within the framework of the European Commission Directorate General for Employment and Social Affairs' Open Call for Proposals for transnational projects VP/2004/008 featuring pilot projects on actions to mainstream disability policies (budget line 04 04 10).

While implementing the project on "Promoting the economic case for the integration of people with disabilities into business and society throughout Europe" Business & Disability collected Case Studies from across Europe on Accessibility, e-Accessibility and Employment inclusion projects for people with disabilities. The resulting publication can be accessed by following the “PDF Publication” link on the left of this page.. Business & Disability would like to thank all those who contributed their case studies; your experiences have helped us to produce a unique guide to best practice across Europe.

Following the publication of our European Case Studies collection, Business & Disability remains committed to the sharing of experiences and best practice. We will continue to publish new case studies on this website, to promote an innovative, inclusive approach in our three key areas of Accessibility, e-Accessibility and Employment.
