Disability Smart Awards 2025 open for nominations
Business Disability Forum (BDF) has opened nominations for its Disability Smart Awards 2025. The Disability Smart Awards 2025 are free to enter and open to UK and global organisations of any size and in any sector.
Now in their eleventh year, these annual awards showcase the work of organisations that are improving the life experiences of employees and consumers with disabilities, by removing barriers to inclusion.
The awards aim to encourage and promote best practice. They are given to individuals and teams who have taken practical steps to make their organisations work better for people with disabilities and have shown proven results.
There are 13 Disability Smart Award categories for 2025 including the Disability Smart Global Disability Inclusion Award, the Disability Smart Technology Award, and the Disability Smart Workplace Experience Award.
Diane Lightfoot, CEO, Business Disability Forum, said: “Our Disability Smart Awards are an opportunity for employers and businesses – both large and small – to show the practical steps they have taken to improve experiences for people with disabilities. We want to hear about projects that put people with disabilities front and centre, recognising the value that disabled people bring to the workplace, the economy and society.”
Go to www.businessdisabilityforum.org.uk/DisabilitySmartAwards for information on all the categories and how to enter. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London in April 2025.
