Disability inclusion - How employers can harness the opportunities of AI and mitigate risks

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers potential to foster disability-inclusive workplaces. Five recommendations to employers on how to harness the opportunities of AI and mitigate risks:
1️⃣ Ensure meaningful human oversight and review of AI-generated decisions.
2️⃣ When procuring AI solutions, vet vendors for their commitment to accessibility and ethical AI.
3️⃣ Embed AI considerations into broader disability, equity and inclusion strategies.
4️⃣ Engage organisations of persons with disabilities, ethical AI initiatives and other experts to learn from latest good practices.
5️⃣ Companies that develop AI should actively involve persons with disabilities in AI design, development, and testing.
