RELEVANT LEGISLATION

The Discrimination Act concerns discrimination on the grounds of gender, transgender identity or expression (new ground of discrimination introduced in the Act of 2008), ethnic origin, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age (a second new ground of discrimination introduced in the Act of 2008).

The Discrimination Act of 2008 can be applied to employment and it covers all features of the relationship between employer and employee.
