Capgemini Morocco’s Collaborative Approach to Advancing Inclusive Employment

30 June 2026

Capgemini Morocco is advancing its Inclusive Future ambition by strengthening its approach to inclusive employment through a collaborative, ecosystem-driven model.

In partnership with Handicap International (Humanité & Inclusion au Maroc), public institutions such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the State Secretariat for Social Inclusion, and private-sector leaders including SAFRAN and AXA, the initiative brings together multiple stakeholders to advance inclusive employment. This reflects a shift from fragmented efforts to a coordinated model focused on delivering measurable impact on the employability of persons with disabilities.

The Inclusive Employment Forum was held on May 12 in Salé, organized by Handicap International with the support of Invest for Jobs. The event brought together institutional stakeholders, corporate partners, and ecosystem actors to pilot a more structured and results-oriented approach to inclusive hiring, with participation from Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Abdeljabbar Er-Rachidi, State Secretary for Social Inclusion; H.E. Robert Dölger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany; and representatives from 26 companies.

Through this initiative, underrepresented talent pools were engaged, building a pipeline of 52 candidates, nearly 40% of whom were pre-selected, demonstrating strong alignment with business needs. The forum also served as a platform for recruitment interviews, coaching sessions, and exchanges on inclusive hiring practices, while strengthening collective engagement through a cooperation agreement between ministries and Handicap International, along with commitments from seven companies under the SAWA Impact Charter.

Capgemini’s readiness has been strengthened through targeted actions with Handicap International, including a three-day training program to build a network of Inclusion Ambassadors and awareness sessions for managers, reaching nearly 200 participants. An accessibility assessment has also established a baseline to improve workplace accessibility and support effective integration of employees with disabilities.

Looking ahead, the focus will be on activating the talent pipeline, tracking results through KPIs, and aligning HR and Talent Acquisition to drive measurable employment outcomes.
