Within the framework of the «Iberoamérica Incluye» Forum 2019, which was organized by the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS, abbreviation in Spanish), the 4th meeting of the Ibero-American Inclusive Business Network was held. This Network comprises the OISS and the ILO.

At the ILO headquarters in Lima, Peru, a group of 12 countries and several companies in the region got together. The countries were Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Spain.

During this meeting, stakeholders shared their experiences on the work of National Business and Disability Networks and businesses to promote hiring people with disabilities in their companies.

The charter that will govern the Ibero-American Inclusive Business Network and the workplan for the year 2020 were also presented, and they were adopted unanimously.

This Network aims at bringing together those national businesses operating in Ibero-America and the National Business and Disability Networks of each country which are committed to equality of opportunity, which are aware of the value that diversity brings to their businesses in the current markets, and which want to share their experiences to further promote job creation for people with disabilities.
