Mental health at work

Mental health in the workplace is an emerging issue that impacts individuals, corporations, and society as a whole. Given the significant economic consequences of this issue, there is a strong business case for improving mental health at the workplace level.

The ILO Global Business and Disability Network has developed the e-learning course “Mental health conditions and work” to help employers acquiring the knowledge and skills to effectively address mental health in the workplace.

OUTPUTS FROM AN EXPERT MEETING IN 2016

Building on the background report and outputs from an Expert Meeting in 2016, the GBDN decided to further support this work by providing access to tools which will help companies to identify specific practice gaps, as well as strengthen the existing strategies related to mental health. This includes a self-assessment tool to help companies assessing their current practices.
