Sodexo Mexico gains “Independent Living Programme” recognition

Sodexo Mexico has received a recognition through the “Independent Living Programme” given by the top consulting companies in Mexico City. Sodexo was recognised for the work it does to promote inclusion of people with disabilities. As part of the programme, Sodexo, in partnership with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), supports young people with intellectual disabilities from ages 15 to 30, helping them achieve a dignified and independent life and the opportunity to be employed by Sodexo. In addition, Sodexo employees have had access to lectures and workshops, allowing them to deepen their understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, and become more aware and sensitive.
