AXA Champions Authenticity for its Employees with Disabilities in India Through “No More Hiding”
Through its flagship Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) movement, “No More Hiding”, which was launched this year, AXA in India (AXA Global Business Services) encourages authentic self-expression for employees living with visible and invisible disabilities, impairments, or chronic health conditions. Rooted in AXA Group’s people strategy of Care & Dare and aligning with its 40th anniversary theme of “daring greatly,” No More Hiding aims to create a culture of resilience, courage, and allyship.
Addressing issues such as self-censorship, stigma, and isolation, No More Hiding has now grown to include other aspects of diversity and inclusion such as gender expression and cultural stereotypes. Through employee advocacy (employee stories told with authenticity) and branded internal campaigns, the movement is a bottom-up approach to culture transformation at AXA in India. By putting employees at the center of its DEIB strategy, especially with movements like No More Hiding, AXA empowers them to take an active role in shaping the culture of the organization.
