In September 2024, Zain Group became the first company in the region to partner with Be My Eyes. A global platform that connects users who are blind or have low vision with sighted volunteers via live video, offering essential visual assistance worldwide.

Through this pioneering partnership, Zain personnel across the Group were given priority to volunteer on the platform. The initiative fostered an internal culture of awareness and inclusion, supported by dedicated training sessions on volunteering etiquette. These collective efforts have now resulted in a significant milestone: Zain personnel have exceeded 1,000 calls on the platform, achieving an impressive 96% satisfaction rate among Be My Eyes users.

This Group-wide success has now been deepened by Zain Iraq joining the Be My Eyes Service Directory, extending this innovative service to their local customer base. Through the Service Directory, Zain Iraq is the first telecom in the region to offer such a service, providing customers with real-time support using trained Customer Care agents for live video support, To ensure seamless implementation, Zain Iraq is conducting comprehensive training for its customer service teams to ensure the service’s seamless operation in line with global best practices.
