To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2022, Capgemini launched the “Enabled by our Talent” campaign in collaboration with its CapAbility employee network. This campaign highlighted examples of how talent has been enabled to thrive in their career and create innovative, transformative solutions for a more accessible and equitable world.

Capgemini is committed to enabling all talent to thrive and succeed – regardless of ability, neurodiversity, or caregiver status. Aligned with the 2022 theme of the International Day, “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world”, the company had a series of events across the world to mark its commitment.

Some highlights of this campaign come from their teams in India – who ran a series of webinars with over 3,800 attendees in total. The webinars covered overarching concepts and provided thought-provoking inspiration, through to more practical support on digital accessibility solutions, self-care and mental wellbeing, and financial wellness for people with disabilities in India. By debunking myths, sharing personal experiences, and highlighting support available for everyone according to their needs, the company hoped to raise the profile on the importance of inclusion of people with disabilities and neurodivergence.

The webinars included a mix of internal and external contributors and helped to continue the conversation, raise awareness, understanding and empathy, and move to action participants on ensuring the inclusion of people with disabilities and neurodivergence. Capgemini recognizes individuals for their talent and enables them to succeed – whatever their abilities.
