Under its disability initiative WE ABLE, Zain proudly celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, reaffirming its commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all. Through a series of impactful initiatives, Zain aimed to raise awareness, empower, and champion persons with disabilities.

One of its central campaigns aligns with The Valuable 500 and the ‘Accountability For Action’ Campaign. In this effort, Zain pledges to hire 100 individuals with disabilities by 2025. Its communication channels and digital services are intentionally designed to be inclusive of persons with disabilities, ensuring its front-facing sales team receives disability etiquette and sign language training. Furthermore, Zain’s website hosts a diverse sign language library. Zain’s message resonates with the fundamental belief that diversity and inclusion are at the core of a thriving community.

In Jordan, Zain took a significant step by introducing the Sign Language Excel Training program, aiming to enhance accessibility and bridge communication gaps by equipping its workforce with sign language skills, fostering inclusivity.

Simultaneously, in Iraq, Zain unveiled a groundbreaking competition focusing on Accessible Innovations. This competition encourages participants to present innovative ideas using technology to drive creativity and support individuals with disabilities.

As Zain commemorates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the company remains steadfast in advocating for inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and advancing towards a more equitable future for all.
