Zain celebrates Global Accessibility Awareness Day

In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Zain hosted a workshop for its employees across their operations in the MENA region, in collaboration with Microsoft. The workshop’s main aim was to support Zain employees in becoming more accessible through their everyday tasks and to raise awareness about the importance of digital accessibility. The workshop covered topics such as Disability Etiquette, Microsoft Accessibility in Action, Accessibility Insights and Demos of Accessibility features provided on Microsoft 360. There were 72 employees from Zain who joined this workshop. Moreover, many Zain operations held their own awareness sessions on digital accessibility to ensure the importance of this day was highlighted amongst all Zain employees.

Alongside the workshops, there was an ongoing awareness campaign hosted on Zain social media in partnership with the GSMA and Microsoft to highlight accessibility features available to everyone on their phones and other electronics.
